Finally some new M.I.A. I’ve been waiting a long time for new material and she doesn’t disappoint with her new single, Bring the Noize. With this out, and Bad Girls, I’m super excited about what she’s going to give us for an album. If you don’t know Maya is the female equivalent to Kanye for me. I’m pretty much a super fan, and I keep my eyes open for anything that she does. Since she’s also a female, I have a bit of a celebrity crush. All that’s not important right now. It is important that you hear this new M.I.A. track though.

Travi$ Scott feat. 2 Chainz & T.I. – Upper Echelon Video

G.O.O.D. Music are starting to make their run. When Yeezy eats, everyone gets their grub on. Travi$ Scott already released his mixtape, Owl Pharoah, so he decided to promote his project by releasing one of his stand-out tracks from the project. This track features the rapping antics of 2 Chainz and T.I. If you didn’t know, Travi$ is affiliated with both G.O.O.D. and Grand Hustle, so it was only right to put these two Atlanta boys together. The video itself is a bit strange. I don’t understand the slow motion introduction, but I do like the owl flying through the screen. Check out the Travi$ Scott music video and share your opinion.

When you already have a figure like Georgia, you can afford a huge piece of chocolate, or eating jam straight from the far. Georgia stays cute as a kitten… mainly because those kittens she takes pictures with are so cute. Shad + Skratch Bastid – The Spring Up EP

When it comes to the Toronto hip-hop scene, most people gravitate around Drake. Me, I’m a bit different. The best emcee I know from Canada goes by the name of Shad. He hasn’t been putting out new material as of late, so when something drops, it’s a special treat. With this 5 track EP, Shad links up with fellow Canadian, Skratch Bastid, to create The Spring Up. Check out what they have to say about the project.

“The Spring Up is the result of fortunate timing, grapefruit Perrier, a shared high school obsession with Outkast’s Aquemeni, and a couple of sessions at Skratch Bastid’s Toronto studio this April. The 5 track collection marks a moment in time for the pair; embodying the spirit of Spring and also serving as a sort of prelude to Shad’s upcoming full-length, to which Skratch Bastid also contributes. The collection features a production assist from DJ Jazzy Jeff, and a turn on the mic from compatriot Cadence Weapon.”

With June 18th fast approaching, we receive a new Mac Miller video to help promote Mac’s new album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off. You can see the growth in Mac’s rhyming from that Blue Slide Park debacle of an album. I don’t know if I can call myself a fan, but he’s getting better. Now let’s talk about that wardrobe. He’s going to need a stylist to help. At least with something conceptual. If you’re going to go with dark, goth church, don’t wear baggy pants and a red jersey. CHVRCHES – Gun Video

Ready to get a little trippy? CHVRCHES gives us a new music video for their single, Gun. It’s pretty simple in nature. When you really look at it, it’s really just the band singing and dancers dancing. The best part of the video is obviously the kaleidoscope editing. Things get pretty trippy, but it also comes to earth because Lauren Mayberry‘s voice is so beautiful that you kind of just want to close your eyes and just listen to the good music. If you can watch it with your eyes open, you should definitely check out the new CHVRCHES video. The song comes from their debut album, The Bones Of What You Believe. It releases Sept. 23rd, but you can pre-order it now.

Lily McMenamy has great lips. That’s the only thing I can think of, seeing her for the first time in this editorial for i-D Magazine. Benjamin Alexander Huseby shoots pale beauty for their editorial entitled Liberate Your Inner Awesome. I would normally tell you what she’s wearing, but the stylings of Elgar Johnson isn’t what makes the editorial special. It’s those luscious red lips that beautifully contrasts with Lily’s pale skin and white background. Check out all of the images from i-D in the gallery. The skater turned self-taught photographer is at it again with another set of photographs, this time for SSUR and its new lookbook. Van does what he does best, and takes pics of beautiful girls. You probably won’t see many of their faces, but Van goes into uncharted territory just to show you the name brand of a t-shirt.
